  • Andrew M. Zomick, D.C.
    Andrew Zomick, DC

    Andrew Zomick, DC has received post doctoral training through Buffalo School of Medicine in Motor Vehicle Collision, Occupant Injury, Whiplash Biomechanical, Brain Injury Trauma, MRI Interpretation, Spinal Biomechanical Engineering, Spinal Trauma, Electro-Diagnostics, and AMA Impairment ratings 5th and 6th Edition.

    Dr. Zomick grew up in Long Island, NY. and is an avid fan of the New York Mets.

  • Andy Lam, D.C.
    Andy Lam, DC

    Andy Lam, DC received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Adelphi University. He continued his education at the University of Bridgeport, where he obtained his Doctorate in Chiropractic and Masters in Acupuncture. As an evidence based and patient centered physician, Dr. Lam treats his patients with utmost respect and care, tailoring each treatment plan to their specific needs. 

    Dr. Lam employs a vast number of chiropractic procedures and rehabilitative exercises techniques. He uses a combination of soft tissue techniques, movement assessments, end-range loading strategies and joint manipulation to provide a functional approach in treating musculoskeletal conditions. He has had experience from Optimus Health Care in Bridgeport and has worked with both acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Lam is board certified by the Nation Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

    Apart from caring for his patients, Dr. Lam enjoys watching horror movies and playing board games. He also enjoys staying active by swimming and hiking. He enjoys continuing his education through weekend seminars and certifications, but most of all, loves spending his time with his mini Australian shepherd named Nala. 

  • Daniel Kerzner, DC
    Daniel Kerzner, DC

    Daniel Kerzner, DC received post-doctoral training in sports medicine, orthopedics, neurology, acupuncture, and industrial medicine.

    Dr. Kerzner has been in practice over 30 years, and his extensive experience includes being  the Team Chiropractor for the 1992 Visiting Team for the Chinese National Olympic Teams, the Professional Bowlers tour Northeast Region, and from 1994-98 Jose Cuervo National Volleyball Team.  He has also been the former Medical Director for the American Athletic Union, and a former clinical medical director for Oxford/UnitedHealthcare.  

  • Rochelle Schaeffer, LAc, LMT
    Rochelle Schaeffer, LAc, LMT

    Rochelle has been treating patients for over 25 years, providing quality and compassionate care with massage and acupuncture. Years of experience and continuing studies has enabled her to achieve positive healing results.  

    Trained both in TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) and Japanese style acupuncture, she might incorporate, electric-stimulation, cupping, herbal lineaments, medical massage, gua sha, infared heat, and other modalities. Upon graduating from massage school she did additional training to become a certified AMMA therapist, which led her to learning acupuncture. AMMA is based upon the same principles as acupuncture, but without needles. Additionally Rochelle has become certified in acupuncture for Orthopedics pain management, auricular (ear), infertility, facial rejuvenation, and continues learning.

    She graduated from New York College for Wholistic Health, Education, & Research with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Sciences, and a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine. Upon graduating Rochelle travelled to China to do extensive clinical training abroad at Guangzhou TCM University in Guangzhou, China. Assisting and learning from doctors of Chinese medicine who were masters, treating numerous medical conditions. Additionally she studied with the renowned teacher Jeffrey Yuen for a year of Chinese Herbal Medicine which began her studies in herbal medicine. Rochelle has worked with medical doctors in the past and present complimenting Western medicine with Eastern medicine. 

  • Jana Hoeft, LAc
    Jana Hoeft, LAc

    Jana Hoeft, LAc is a practitioner of East Asian medicines and a licensed acupuncturist in CT and NY. She graduated from Tristate College of Acupuncture in New York City and has been treating patients with many different types of health issues, and specializes in musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries. She has extensive training in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture and Acupuncture Physical Medicine.

    Jana’s approach to treating her patients is based on understanding first hand what it is like being a mother, a professional and sports enthusiast. She creates comprehensive and gentle treatments for her patients based on their specific needs with each patient. While using traditional acupuncture point protocols, she often uses additional modalities such as cupping, Gua-sha, AMMA, moxa, and auricular treatments. She has studied with revered teachers, Kiko Matsumoto, Thea Elijah and Shellie Goldstein.

    Jana speaks English, Czech, Russian and German and currently lives in New Canaan with her family. Prior to her acupuncture education, she was a trader and a consultant in the financial industry for over 15 years.

  • Alexander Kuzminov, LAc
    Alexander Kuzminov, LAc, DACM

    Alexander Kuzminov, LAc received his Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Haven.  He has experience with treating patients with gastrointestinal pathologies such as IBS and Crohn's Disease, as well as general pain management for chronic and acute back pain, shoulder pain, sciatica, neck pain, and headaches,  For over twenty years, Dr. Kuzminov has also specialized in the treatment of MS, Parkinson's Disease, ALS, Tourrette's Syndrome, asthma, allergies, and auto immune diseases.
